World of Warcraft Item Upgrades
Upgrades to items are an essential part of gearing up your character. Upgrades increase the damage of your item and enhancements.
They also offer bonuses and enhancements. item upgrading can sell them to you.
The upgrade button is available on any item. Each recycled item adds a level to the upgrade gauge.
Weapons
When the weapon is upgraded it gains a base damage bonus and a scaling factor that can affect other stats. The weapon may also gain a variety of upgrade components that offer additional effects or attributes, and some have distinct cosmetic effects. These upgrades can be put into armor, weapons, trinkets, and gathering tools, and most require that the equipment has an available upgrade slot and meet certain specifications. The upgrade component can be removed from an armored weapon, weapon, or trinket, but it cannot be replaced. (Except for legendary equipment). Upgrade components can be found through the Black Lion Salvage Kit Ascended Salvage tool, or high-tier salvaging tool on an item.
In addition to the normal upgrades, a weapon may be upgraded using the Calibration Attribute which improves certain stats such as Weakspot Damage or Crit Rate. This is done via the Gear Workbench's interaction menu. Based on the tier of the weapon, this can be done up to four times.
Once the weapon is at max upgrade, it can be reforged using a variety of different upgrade types to boost specific stats or to add bonuses and effects. A variety of these upgrades can be re-applied at once, and their effects are based on the nature of the weapon.
Two Blacksmiths are able to perform these upgrades in the game: Blacksmith Iji on the Road to the Manor Site of Grace and Smithing Master Hewg at the Church of Elleh hub. The upgrade materials are both different: Smithing Stones to modify the kind of damage a weapon deals and Somber Smithing Stones to modify standard weapons.
Generally, it is recommended to upgrade weapon damage first, then armour defense, then the other secondary stats that are required by your build. It is not unusual to see melee Druids upgrade their weapon before upgrading other equipment. This can help increase DPS. This is especially relevant to enchantments that can be extremely effective in boosting the weapon's damage and other stats.
Armor
Item Upgrades allow players to increase the stats of specific weapons, armors, trinkets, and gathering tools. These upgrades may also have additional effects such as increased damage or cosmetic enhancements. Item upgrades are available through crafting, buying from NPC vendors and loot drop, or as quest rewards.
Armor can be improved by visiting the Armorer NPC, and spending the appropriate currency. Most armor upgrades to the next level after an upgrade. This is possible for all types of armor, but certain types of armor cannot be upgraded in any way (such as the armor used to start in Great Sky Island).
The majority of armor upgrades boost the item's strength or defense by a small amount. However, certain upgrade components can offer significant enhancements to strength or defense, especially when upgrading an epic item.
Certain upgrades grant special abilities which can be activated when wearing armor. These abilities can be very beneficial in combat. For example, they can boost the speed of attack or block. Certain upgrades can have passive effects that are useful, such as decreasing damage when wearing armor or increasing the chance of avoiding an attack.
Depending on the type of armor being used, upgrading an item can require multiple tries. For instance the case of a player wanting to upgrade an existing Steelclash armor to Dragonscale the first attempt would result in a new piece of Dragonscale with a base defense between 59 and 67. The second attempt will result in a brand new Dragonscale armor with a base defense between 67-77, and it goes on.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild lets players upgrade their armor sets to level 4. To do this, players must visit the four Great Fairy Fountains found in the game. Each of these locations has a fair with a great power that can change the quality of an item of armor for you.
Contrary to popular belief armor in The Division 2 is not in any way useless. Certain armors provide a significant increase in the ability to reduce damage from poison spells, curses, magic or fire. This makes them very beneficial for certain builds. There are many other ways to increase the strength of armor apart from upgrading the armor, for instance using the engineer attribute to increase armor penetration or the challenger trait to decrease the weight of the entire armor.
Potion
A potion can be upgraded by placing it in an brewing stand in order to unlock new effects. The upgrade unlocks a brand new level of potion effect and can be repeated to get higher levels of potency.
The potion also gets a custom color code which the player can choose by using /give. This can affect the area-of-effect clouds as well as arrows produced by the potions. In Bedrock Edition, the custom color code of the potion is also applied to the effects of the potion's particle effects.
The water bottle, mundane and thick potions, as well as awkward potions now have a different brewing texture. In the Creative Inventory potion healing and weakness are now available. There are lingering potions available that can be made with splash potions or dragon breath, and a thick potion that has the status effect of Mining Fatigue (duration 4 hours). Trinket
A trinket is an ornament that is inexpensive or a piece of jewelry. This can be a necklace, ring or even a small flag used to identify a vessel's lateen yard. It can also be the trinket with gilded gold that is attached to the mast of a vessel.
This macabre trinket is believed to be influencing the inhabitants of this maze which makes them more prevalent. This trinket at the moment, makes all types Xx of replicas more popular and gives each floor an probability of Y% that it will contain an ebony-colored replica. This trinket is priced at a moderate amount of energy to upgrade.
The magic of this enchanted scepter appears to influence the dungeon, making it more likely to create water and grass. This trinket, at its current level, will cause X% of regular floors to be filled with grass or water. It doesn't affect enchantments, glyphs, cursed weapons or armor or other items that are created to solve hazards rooms.
The item, which appears like eyes of a newt appears to alter your vision in a way that goes beyond merely reducing your field-of-view. At its current level this trinket boosts the overall health gained from drinking potions of healing, waterkins, and wells of health by X% and gives you vision on enemies within the Y tiles. This trinket cannot be combined with the Heightened Senses.
Skull Cavern is where you will find Trinkets after completing the Mastery Cave. You will find them when you defeat Monsters and chests and crates. They are not in the Mines or Volcano Dungeon.
When you find a trinket that requires upgrading put it in the Anvil to upgrade it. This will have an unintended effect on the trinket either prolonging its life or strengthening its effects. You can reorge the trinket as often as you'd like, but it will always have the same effect.
You can also enhance your Trinkets by placing them in a magical catalyst at the Alchemy Station. This will cost you 6 energy and boost the trinket's power by just a little.
